Karim Benzema played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, where they celebrated numerous titles, scored countless goals, and participated in hundreds of matches together; however, he does not believe that the Portuguese forward is the greatest football player of all time.

Benzema made it clear while reacting to the GOAT comment made by Ronaldo.

Earlier this month, Ronaldo told Spanish Media that he is the best player in football history.

The 40-year-old athlete proclaimed, “I consider myself the greatest player in the history of football. I have yet to encounter anyone superior to me throughout football’s timeline, and I speak this sincerely. When it comes to statistics, I believe I am the most well-rounded player ever. In my view, that player is me. My skills encompass everything in football… whether it’s heading, taking free kicks, using my left foot. I possess speed and strength.”

The French athlete remarked: “Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If he believes he is the greatest of all time, then that’s his perspective. Personally, I consider Ronaldo from Brazil to be the best. I prefer not to compare players; each has their unique journey, and his is certainly remarkable.”

“I believe that the discussions around the Ballon d’Or have come to an end; that’s my perspective. For me and for everyone else, he (Vinicius) stands out as the best. He is a crucial player for Real Madrid and consistently influences matches. I feel immense pride in what he has accomplished. I’ve shared this with him, and I hope that one day he can achieve that Ballon d’Or, but what truly matters is that he maintains this level of excellence at Madrid, continuing to perform as he does,” Benzema concluded.
